Bank of Melbourne Branch Ballarat

Recently attended branch to deposit cheque into an account and surprise the Ballarat staff deposited the cheque into the wrong account. Now we have to wait for this to be corrected by incompetent bank staff. Terrible customer service from this branch. They had one job and still stuffed it up.

I have paid out my home loan and waiting for the title and I have called and left a message 10 times and they do not return calls this is so unprofessional. I do not even think they check there messages. This is so wrong and not customer service

Turned up at this branch yesterday afternoon and was served by a young lady who was extremely rude, rolling her eyes at a simple request. If this is the best customer service your branch can provide then it might be time to go elsewhere.

Alert about ATM deposit machine in this branch. I Went to branch before picking up my kid and parked at 10 minutes parking spot, thought it only took couple of minutes to deposit money, but it turned out not. There was one customer before me, and then there came another two after me and they were served before me. Dont how long I need wait, and considering time to pick up kid and my 10 minutes parking, I had to use the deposit machine which was a disaster. I dislike it because the machine cant talk and you cant see the process if something went wrong. I put my notes in and dont know why some notes were returned and some were deposited, but after I calculated there were some notes missing from my best memory. I was so worried but I had to wait very patient while the lady was still serving another customer. Then, I was told she need to count balance for the atm and give me a call. This morning I received call and said they were balanced that means my notes have gone missing. It will never happen If I can deposit over the counter because we can see and talk if anything goes wrong. So please be alert or try to avoid to use deposit machine if you can wait at your best patient and deposit over the counter. And dont park at 10 minutes, sometimes, it is not enough to make a simple deposit.
