Absolute the worst bank I have every come across. They make everything extremely difficult for no reason.

the staff are kind enough and setting up an account took about half an hour. My only gripe is how difficult the "website" is and trying to link my phone number with the website, if you are already with a bank don't transfer to this bank the website where I access my balance is a nightmare.

Can not recommend- they make everything incredibly difficult. When into the branch and spoke with the branch manager about applying for an additional loan (home loan already with them) and advised they cannot help and a team would need to call me back - received call the next day just to be given a form to fill out - you telling me your branch manager isnt even capable of emailing me a form? Contacted them by phone 2 days ago for a discharge authority form to move banks and again told a team would contact me within 3 days - start if the 3rd day today and no phone call yet. I literally can download discharge authority forms for other banks directly online but you need a team to call me. Its ridiculous ohh about that can you get your team to actually call me youll find my details on your list of people to call wanting a discharge authority form (surely your list isnt that large right?)

Customer service is good, ethics are commendable, interest rates are attractive, but as far as everyday banking goes, there are simply too many outages impacting card-use or internet banking to be able to recommend this bank to anyone. The Facebook page should be a warning with all of the outage notifications and angry customer responses. Ultimately, a good bank for your home loan but keep your transaction account elsewhere. **note the outage situation has dramatically improved since posting this review so I have adjusted my rating accordingly.
