Went to open a joint account with full ID on phone including face and signature and other requirements like bank statements. But apparently computer says no! It didnt help that the teller was just tooling around for 10 minutes without looking up or greeting us in any way. You would think they would be keen to sign a customer on and up sell to a professional couple in an inner city area but no, they would prefer to discriminate on the basis that a digital Id with proof of age and 100 points of other ID is not enough. This effectively means anyone who does not drive is assumed to be not worthy of their business regardless of salary. I would have been better off with a big bank. Thank you for wasting my morning

Do not apply for a car loan here, member or not. I thought it might be alright to apply since ive been a member for almost 20 years but the whole process was an absolute joke. Don't get me wrong, i am fine if my application 'doesnt meet lending guidelines'. That's all well and good but the whole process took over 2.5months for a 20k loan to be assessed. They questioned me 3 times for clarification on things which i dont have an issue with however, i do have an issue if it is over a period of time because then it feels like they're trying to find reasons to decline the application. Why not just look at the entire application and just assess it there and then. The figures are all there...what more do you want? Can you believed they asked me why my business turnover was up 20k on the previous year like it was such a bad anomaly? Then to put the icing on the cake, they asked me questions about my personal expenses, which was absolutely annoying because i had already entered all the details on the application when you first start the process. I have no idea which einsteins are running the loan approvals but my god...it was so painful and difficult and i will NEVER recommend this to anyone ever. There are 100's of lenders who have a much easier and quicker process. I only applied with P/C because i have been a member for ages but ive never applied for anything until recently. Never again though!
