Dr Mobbs is an excellent surgeon. He is a considerate person who respects patients autonomy and will not pressure them into having surgery. I had been suffering from recurrent bilateral disc herniations at L4/5 and L5/S1. Dr Mobbs performed a TLIF survey and I felt immediate relief following the surgery. It has greatly improved my quality of life and would recommend Dr Ralph Mobbs to anyone thinking of having a similar operation.

I want to thank Dr Mobbs for finally giving my mother some much wanted relief from her debilitating pain associated with spinal nerve compression. He and his amazing team at the Neuro Spine Clinic know how to treat their patients with respect and understanding. Corrine and all the ladies in reception go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and reassure you that you are in very capable hands. Professional, dedicated and honest are the words that come to mind when thinking of Dr Mobbs and his team. Anyone seeking relief from back pain needs to look no further than Dr Mobbs and his team, to ensure a positive outcome and a return to a happy lifestyle.

This is an honest from the heart review based on the hell since surgery by Dr Ralph Mobb. I will explain my situation so that no one has to ever go through this and Dr Mobbs does not hurt anyone else Dr Mobbs performed C5C6 disc replacement surgery for my right hand neuropathic pain. Two weeks after the surgery I felt a severe pain on the left side of my neck and down my left arm and into left hand. I had never experienced this type of neck pain beforehand and this pain in her left arm and hand was new. My suffering due to this pain is immense, agonising, and debilitating and this was a totally unexpected outcome. I began experiencing other unexpected complications such as tinnitus, dizziness, and am unable to drive to this day due to severe imbalance and nausea and am unable to travel as this causes echoing so aggressive that it affects my hearing and balance. Dr Mobbs no longer wanted to deal with me and he refused to take responsibility for my post-operative pain/symptoms after the surgery he performed. His words on the phone to me was "I did a great job, I have patients waiting and I have to go". He had no empathy, and did not refer me for any post-surgery rehabilitation, that was the last I heard from him. He was away and unavailable to see for 6 weeks after my operation, he was on holidays leaving no one to care for his patients if anything goes wrong which is what occurred in my case. It is unacceptable that i had to be guided by his secretaries and nurse without any supervision from himself or a stand in doctor on his behalf and was advised to go to nearest public hospital emergency when I could not handle the pain. I have been left housebound except for visits to doctors, fragile, disabled, weak, frail, in constant pain, echoing in my ears, hearing affected, experiencing loss of balance, dizziness, erythema, insomnia, pallor and nausea. My life is on the line after the punishing constant and severe daily bouts of crippling pain attacks and symptoms. My children and myself are distressed, anxious and very scared to leave me alone at home. A second neurosurgeon ordered a dynamic cervical spine x-ray which showed that the disc implant by Dr Mobbs was stuck and not moving at all, as it was meant to do on rotation of the neck. Another neurosurgeon performed a second operation to remove the disc prosthesis that Dr Mobbs implanted. Unfortunately, the nerve and bone damage done was irreversible. I have been left disabled, weak, fragile, frail, housebound like a caged animal since the surgery by Dr Mobbs. I am not an animal, animals deserve to be treated better than this. I am unable to perform simple and essential tasks such as showering, unable to wipe on the toilet, unable to carry anything heavier than an empty plate, unable to wash dishes, unable to cook a meal for my family, unable to drive, unable to do shopping and any of lifes essential basics. My life would have been much better if I had not done the surgery with Dr Mobbs. It has destroyed our lives. I beg you, do not see this doctor as you have a large chance of been left desperate for help and left suffering from lifelong pain. You will be left feeling hopeless and severely depressed. I hope this review helps you.
