Sydney Adult Children's Ear Nose Throat Centre - Dr. Jacobson Ian

Our son was flagged as possibly having laryngomalacia at 3 months old. Initially we saw Dr. Jacobson just to confirm the diagnosis but as a precaution he requested we do an at-home sleep study to make sure bub was getting enough oxygen whilst asleep. When he failed that study, Dr Jacobson was quick to act, booking him in for surgery at Sydney Children's Hospital. Most children grow out of laryngomalacia by 2 years, so we were all shocked to find our little one needed surgery at all. Handing over our precious child to the care of his team was emotional, but they took wonderful care of him. The surgery was a huge success, with bub immediately sleeping better and eating twice as much as before. We are forever thankful to Dr Jacobson and his team for looking after him. Should we need an ENT again, we would go nowhere else.

Dr Jacobson amazing be prepared for the rude conversation with the receptionist staff and front desk. Drs are amazing but the receptionist leave a bad taste in your mouth and the more I go for my follow up appointments they are getting worse .

Dr Ian Jacobson was a blessing to us during the week our daughter had emergency surgery. He is kind and he is knowledgeable. Every other doctor and nurse we dealt with spoke very highly of him and our experience with him was the same. Absolutely recommend!
