We were fortunate to find Dr Yang when my daughter was diagnosed with Scoliosis. Dr Yang has a confidence in his abilities which is very reassuring. Our daughter had an Anterior Release followed 4 days later by a Posterior Spinal Fusion. Dr Yang was able to perform the surgery at our preferred time at the Epworth Hospital. We were very well looked after by the team on the paediatric ward. Dr Yang is friendly and approachable and came and saw my daugther every day she was in hospital (even over the long weekend public hospital). My daughter is now 12 months post surgery and we are happy that she has returned to playing sport with her friends.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Yi and have him carry out surgery on my back. Prior to surgery I had limited mobility, was losing what I had and facing life in a wheel chair. Three years since surgery I have good mobility, play golf twice a week and have no pain. I cannot speak highly enough of his skill. It is a bonus that he is a nice guy who explains clearly what he is going to do in a way you can understand and takes the time to answer your questions. Thank you so much for what you did for me.

I am very happy with Dr Yi Yang. I had the operation from him on my back and now the numbness and the pain has gone, although I understand the recovery is an ongoing thing. Before seeing Dr Yang, I was suffering from a lot of pain and numbness and couldn't even walk. I've tried other methods like physio and acupuncture but the problem wasn't easing. Then I was referred to Dr Yang. Dr Yang is very professional and patient about explaining the situation, and I took his advise and went ahead with the surgery. It all went well and I am very happy with the result. Highly recommend Dr Yang!
