I had an emergency ankle operation by dr Patel 5 years ago. In Cabrini I never saw him. Consequently my ankle was extremely painful was told just natural. Made an appointment to see dr Patel who organised tests . My ankle was infected he then had to open me up again consequently all the hopping had damaged my back having to havr spinal surgery . I have had 5 years of pain and cant take anymore

I had on-going pain and swelling in my leg caused by previous failed procedures done by different surgeons at a different hospital. After discussing my case with Dr Patel, he put my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable and confident that the issue could be fixed and I'd walk normally. Having gone through the procedures to correct the deformity, it has made it easier for me to walk.

My daughter has congenital pseudarthrosis of tibia (right leg) as a result of which her leg was shorter than the other. She had surgeries to fix this in 2015 at another hospital and by a different set of doctors. Some of the problems that she encountered as a result of these surgeries was her leg was constantly swollen and she was always in pain and unable to walk more than 10 minutes. She was having pain in her back and hips as well. This is when we decided to consult with Dr. Patel, who was extremely sympathetic to her condition. A few x-rays later he told us the pain in her back and hips was because her leg was around 4cms shorter and the swelling in her leg was because there was deformity caused by the fusion of her ankle. We were stressed wondering if this could be fixed or if she was destined to endure the pain for the rest of her life. After this initial consultation, we left the hospital with a feeling of relief and so much hope. His understanding of the problem, and the simplistic manner in which he explained what he was going to do gave us a sense of relief and we knew that very instant he was the correct person to help us. I can now say after surgery my daughter's leg looks so much better, and she is on her way to recovery. She still has a little bit to go through before she is back to 100%, but I can confidently say she is healing well and this is all thanks to Dr. Minoo Patel. He is an amazing doctor who has an amazing heart and I would not hesitate to recommend him in a heartbeat.
