Dr Akshay Kamra

Thanks to this brilliant man I no longer suffer from pain, and I am living a normal life again straight after a total hip replacement. Words cannot explain how happy and amazed I am with Dr Akshay Kamra. His mannerism, orthopaedic knowledge and skills have left me with the highest admiration and respect for him. I virtually got up and walked the morning after the operation with no pain, and I also felt that I could have walked straight home. The care I received from Dr Kamra's team at Prince of Wales Hospital was also very professional, as I was kept comfortable and very well looked after at all times. I highly recommend Dr Akshay Kamra and cannot thank this wonderful man enough.

Im so grateful to Dr Kamra I returned from overseas with a fractured hip 3 weeks ago from a Pushbike accident I had in Sydney in January . I was referred to Dr Kamra in severe pain . This kind gentle man took one look at me and made time and scheduled surgery the next day . Im now 2 weeks this Thursday since my surgery and Im so grateful that he took me under his wing and the process was seamless the whole team that he put together was super professional . Dr Kamra has got a gentle bedside manner , Softly spoken and made me feel assured and explained everything very clearly . Im an extremely lucky lady and Im not 100% just yet , but now im out of extreme pain that iv been living with for 3 months to now seeing light at the end of the tunnel and getting back to normal life I couldnt be more grateful and highly recommend Dr Akshay Kamra .

I was so lucky to be referred to Dr Kamra by my GP. Dr Kamra has been a blessing. Im currently 1 week post op after total hip replacement and certainly did not expect to feel this good. The entire process with Dr Kamra and his team was seamless. I was provided in depth information about the procedure, and all of my random questions we answered so quickly. During my hospital stay, Dr Kamra checked in with me regularly and had such a great bedside manner, especially when it came to guiding me through how my recovery would progress. I cant recommend Dr Kamra highly enough. Thank you so much, Im eternally grateful to you and your team.

Hello, Ive had the most amazing experience with Dr KAMRA , I had a total hip replacement on the 23rd December 2022 @ Waratah private.. this surgeon is not only down to earth , hes extremely knowledgeable and kind , best bedside manner , softly spoken and treats you like you matter not just a number , I was in hosp for Xmas and he brought me a thank you Xmas gift , compliments to him and his generosity totally appreciated and will always be remembered, Id recommend this guy to anyone .. so glad I met him and he worked his magic on me
