Orthosports - Dr Ivan Popoff

Dr Popoff performed a grade 4 pec major rupture repair surgery. The surgery was successful and the rehab, although conservative was also successful. I cant speak highly enough of the expertise and the way Dr Popoff handled the entire process. Thank you for getting me back to full use of my pec again.

Total professional. I have had both clavicle surgery and must say perfect results.

Told me he was going to do things a specific way then changed them on my while I was under general. Was told I'd had a different procedure done after the operation to what I was initially in for. I informed Ivan of this and told him I wanted to see what he actually did and he ignored me for 8 months until he finally approved scans. He claims they all looked great yet 75%of the graft was not in the correct position and instead just floating around in my shoulder. The plate he put in was never secured properly either which ment that was bouncing around unsecured causing extreme pain. When I took my scans to see another surgeon I was told "I don't like the look of any of this but I don't think I can help you, you need to go and see the guy I used to repair my shoulder) so finally after a 2 year fight I was allowed to have Ivan's work corrected and there was an immediate improvement. If you need your shoulder, or anything looked at by a surgeon, don't use this one. He does not care about his patients in the slightest, his only concern if himself.
