I was given a gift in the wrong size, tags still on no receipt. I called Nike Miranda and asked if it would still be possible to exchange for bigger size without receipt. They said yes and confirmed they had multiple larger sizes in stock. I arrive in store and i discover that even though they answer the phone as Nike store Miranda, I was talking to someone off site. The manager also explained that I had been given the wrong info and they wouldn't be able to do the exchange. I had come in specifically with my 3 year old on the train to do this so I was a bit frustrated. The manager said I should be embarrassed of myself when I said I would complain online. I then called back the number and again had it confirmed to me by customer support that I would be able to do the exchange and to wait 5 minutes and head back. I went back in after 5 but again was told it wouldn't be possible yet and to wait more and they will call me. By this point my son is having a meltdown after being dragged in and out of the same store. I was then told that even though I had made the manager uncomfortable for being 'passive' (?) They could do a credit but didn't have the hats in stock. I had repeatedly told the manager that I wasn't angry with her, I could see it wasn't her fault and that I was angry with customer support for telling me something that wasn't the case. So what was supposed to be an easy quick exchange has turned into a nightmare for me and my son, where I cannot do this simple exchange. And I certainly never feel comfortable going into Nike Miranda again as the manager has made me feel like I'm crazy. Oh and to top it all off, my phone auto records calls so I have a record of customer service telling me they could do the exchange without a receipt even though they now claim they never did it. Terrible service from Nike head office. Should of been simple.
