Westpac Branch Hornsby East Side

Trying to close my accounts with westpac has been a nightmare. I had to call 3 different numbers to close 3 different types of accounts. They would not close my children's accounts on the phone or online so had to come into the branch. After 30minutes in the branch they tell me I need photo ID for my child (which I don't even have) and they refuse to transfer their funds to another bank. Disgusting practice. Find another bank.

We had such a bad experience visiting this branch. First, the staff is so lax. There is no one to attend you. We had to wait for a long time till we found someone who could attend us. On top of that Zeila was rude and incapable to answer our queries about a car loan. She kept pressing us to apply for the loan even though we came there to understand how the process works. She had no experience handling car loan enquiries and continuously kept asking her colleagues and even called Westpac's customer care to check with them! Then she made us speak with the customer care exec because she couldn't be bothered to understand our query. It's sad to see employees of Westpac don't have a clue about what the products and offerings are at their bank. The place reeks of incompetency and entitled behaviour. Zero customer service, and oh, there are giant mosquitoes! Absolutely a horrendous place and we wouldn't recommend this Westpac branch to anyone. We left the place feeling disappointed.

I open an account for my little girl and all the staff were friendly and patience to us. Ziela who assist us is lovely and I love how she involved my little girl in the process. She was asking question to my little girl and waiting for my baby to reply, very friendly, lovely and accomodating. I also find Amanda and Laura who are in the money area very patient and friendly as we ask them to deposit a lot of coins and its a lot and they were happy and patiently do it for us manually as the coin machine is unavailable that time. What a lovely experience with this bank especially for my daughter who done this first time. Thank you guys.
