NAB Branch - Broadway (Digital Self-Serve Options)

This branch has been closed for months, as is the one in Balmain. COVID restrictions have been eased and it still hasnt reopened and its almost March. There are no signs to indicate when the branch is going to reopen. I rang NAB and the Banker could not find any information on when its reopening. The closest branch is in Haymarket. Not good enough NAB! Update 10/6/22 - walked in on a friday and there was one person on shift. Extended hours on saturday have stopped. Public holiday next monday. There should be more staff on duty. Update 20/6/22 - walked to the branch on a monday, it was closed with a sign "we need to close for while" with no explanation why.

I recently opened a bank account there, and ordered my card to the bank. I was told 7-10 days and then came back to check after 7 days as my phone number had changed. But the middle aged Asian woman behind the counter was very rude about it and said I should wait until I receive a call confirming its arrival. I then asked her to change my number on the system. A few days passed and I didnt receive a call, so I went to check at the branch, and my card had arrived a couple days prior but I did not receive a call. She had made me feel uncomfortable and that I was in the wrong but if I hadnt come in to check, I never would have gotten the card. I had a nice experience with the other colleagues though, friendly and helpful.

Had an excellent experience. This is how all banks should be and should treat their customers. This branch has the best friendly staff. Had a meeting with Michael and he is super friendly and explained everything in detail. Never had a best customer experience like this in any of other banks. Highly recommended.

The ATM outside the store rarely functions properly and is frustrating to use. It often doesn't allow me to deposit, swallows my money or incorrectly calculates the amount of money deposited. One time the machine swallowed my $100, so I went in the next day and the lady working there was quite rude and told me "our machines don't do that".
