        They have stopped maintaining it and appear to want it to rust away and disappear. It's a shame. Whoever is responsible should be taken out and shot.

        The north weighbridge retains the intact 1901 mechanism and metal bridge made in London. The Victorian Railways timber cabin that protected the mechanism and operator, burnt down in 2014 and the custodians have allowed the mechanism to become rusty. This weighbridge was used for weighing loaded rail wagons and for checking their tare weight.
