Very satisfied with my experience with the Indonesian consulate, I had a complex citizenship matter that needed supporting document and they wrote me an official supporting letter within 1 week. They were very friendly and empathetic to my case. Thank you Mr.Budi and team

I have applied for visa and the website does not load. I went to the Melbourne Embassy office and explained the issue. Instead of trying to resolve the issue on the website, they insisted on me going to the private agencies and pay five times more and get the visa. This looks like a fraud going on between Embassy office in Melbourne and private visa agencies. I tried to explain many times that the website is down but still they said that you should go to private agencies!!!!! it's very sad and disappointing that the Embassy personnel not only don't care and do not help and fix the issue but also encourage people to pay five times more to private agencies!!!!

I tried to apply tourist visa through the website. But the website is not working. So I went to Indonesian embassy in Melbourne. I show them the website is not working (error 404) but in the end they told me the only way they is through agency. Agencies charge 2-3 times more than original fees. It is rubbery. How agencies have access to the website but individuals not?!!!! I even called to the embassy, same result

(Translated by Google) Experience taking care of regular passport changes in January 2023. Positive : 1. The time gap between submission and notification of arrival is only about 3 days (On the website it is stated that data verification is 2-4 weeks). Email notification of arrival enters Spam box. Fortunately, I diligently check the Spam box, for those who don't check the Spam box, it's definitely too much. 2. Security guards are now more professional and friendly like security guards at BCA. negative : Administration and service systems are less integrated Example in my case: a. 5 years ago when I came to take care of my passport, the security guard held a list of people who would come to take care of my passport that day, so I only needed to show proof of identity. 5 years later (now) even have to bring email proof of agreement. b. At the security guard post, they are asked to check-in online (providing personal data and the purpose of the visit online). Once inside the building, it turns out that we have to take the queue number manually. (I thought that the check-in process at the guard post was directly connected to the admin computer in the building as online arrival information.) c. When I was asked for email proof that I had reported myself, I was surprised, because there were no such instructions either on the website or in the arrival notification email, only that I was asked for his cooperation to report himself. At first I remembered that I had reported myself in 2014 manually by sending a form to the Indonesian Consulate General. Then I just remembered again, that in 2020, I was asked to report myself online and fortunately I still have the confirmation email to report myself. It would be nice, when verifying the data for passport renewal, the consular party should also check the status of the person's self-report, for smooth processing. d. My return envelope, Express Post, was rejected by the staff on duty. (5 years ago, no issues with my Express Post return envelope) On the written Passport Extension form it is RECOMMENDED that the return envelope is a registered or platinum registered envelope for the purpose of checking the return process. In fact, it is REQUIRED to wear an envelope with a Signature on Delivery statement for the purpose of ensuring that the passport reaches the person in question. I understand the good intentions of these provisions, but due to information and implementation that is not in sync, I have to spend $ 50 (taxi fare) to buy a Signature on Delivery Sticker which is only $ 2.95. (I don't live in Victoria and have to go back to the airport, for convenience's sake I take a taxi) d. For the second time (2 times managing passport changes), a page was forgotten to be printed, finally the passport was sent back to the Indonesian Consulate in Melbourne with additional postage of 2 Express Post envelopes plus a Signature on Delivery Sticker for $ 31.80 (slightly different from the passport price of $ 40) :( Hopefully the administration system and performance will be better in the future. (Original) Pengalaman mengurus pergantian paspor biasa pada bulan Januari 2023. Positif : 1.
