The ambience at the restaurant was lovely with a cozy fireplace, but the food was mediocre, despite higher-than-average prices and fine dining-style portions (small size) with a fixed dinner menu. I am pretty sure they use the same lamb for our entree and the main just presented differently. Dietary restrictions: Limited dietary flexibility

The service was lovely, but the food was very hit-and-miss. Starters were great, obviously prepared fresh and delivered promptly. When we were offered a break between starters and mains which we accepted, once the mains arrived they were overcooked and cold. The place is really beautiful, tastefully decorated and cosy to eat and drink in. For the price, this place is not delivering on food quality and taste. The Surly Goat just the road is killing them on every level. Go there instead.

We had the included breakfast to our stay at peppers here and boy was it good! Was super impressed at the standard for an included breakfast. Will definitely be back to book dinner here

Had breakfast here today. We were sat down on our table and given a plate of Crossaints, butter, jam, Fruit salad and Yoghurt pots to share which was delicious. Then we got to pick a dish of the menu. Service was fantastic, staff very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and the coffee was one of the best!
