Face Doctor Clinics - Dr. David Powell

Not honest about what he is injecting into your face. I was injected with aquamid- this was confirmed with mri and ultrasound. I asked for hyaloronic acid and was instead injected with aquamid. Look up aquamid and David Powell on real self. I'm not the first one! After I posted this, one of David's clients has posted a review claiming I am a "Karen". I am not one to post negative reviews unless I feel it can help someone else avoid the same disappointing experience I have had. I am not trying to slander his business, I contacted them directly first. And I was directed by a well known cosmetic doctor to have an mri to detect the problematic undissolvable filler- the hard bumps and migration that is distorting my smile. Beware. After seeing David in 2020, I had problems (lumps and migration) with my lip filler and after contacting was offered no help to rectify. David's partner told me I was given dissolvable filler to my lips and however no doctors have been able to dissolve it after many sessions. I would be wary as I feel some rogue doctors try to save money/use up old products by putting questionable products into your lips.

I very rarely post reviews but i'm so blown away by the last 'Karen' review that i'm compelled to comment. I have attended David Powell's clinics for over twenty years and have always received exceptional care, amazing results without the 'cowboy' attitude that many injectors possess. Having referred many close friends, all have remained long term clientele due to his artistry and balanced approach. Of course, there are risks associated with any cosmetic procedure, fortunately, I have never experienced any. However, slandering a business because you've decided your new set of lips isnt 'your bag' is not that reason. An MRI for your lips? Youre kidding aren't you? Folks if you're still uncertain about utilising David Powell's services i'd be more than happy to speak with you personally. Over twenty years with the same practioner certainly speaks for itself.
