Our experience with Neil has been fantastic. He performed a tonsillectomy on our young toddler recently and was very reassuring and ready to help us with whatever we needed. The surgery day went so smoothly as his manner is so calm and friendly. His reception staff were also very helpful, particularly Sam. If we ever need the services of an ENT again we will be sure to ask for a referral to Neil.

A truely amazing doctor! Empathetic, exeperienced soecilaist who went above and beyond for us, Sam and Julie who are apart of his team have also been truely beautiful Beings.

I was disappointed with my visit to Dr Neil. I read the reviews and thought he was going to help me. My physio believes I have BPV and after a 10 minute conversation with Dr Neil, he made his diagnosis for another condition of which he cannot help me with. I asked him to do some tests to make sure, however he did not think it necessary. He could have done some tests to rule BPV out as this would be a definite answer coming from an ENT specialist, and he didnt. He barely even checked my ears, and seemed to not want to help me further. I even had to ask if I had to do a hearing test and he said it wasnt necessary. Didnt even prescribe any medication to help alleviate the vertigo Ive been experiencing. I felt like I paid money for nothing but a short conversation.

Neil seems like a great surgeon and was very friendly, however thats where the positives all stopped. Having waited 6 weeks for our initial appointment (which is fine), we were then told 8-10 weeks for surgery and given a date and warned date could change because of the closure of the Frankston private. I was happy and understanding of this. But as the date approached we heard nothing. I called several weeks to check and was simply told someone would call me. Knowing I needed to take 2 weeks of carers leave , being told nothing was very unhelpful in planning around work. When it got to 2 weeks before the scheduled date I called again and was simply told "no that dates definitely not going ahead, and you just need to wait for someone to call you" the last was quite rude and dismissive and practically hung up. At this point after thinking about it, I called back and stated I wasn't happy with this and surely someone could give me some form of indication as to when the surgery would be going ahead. I was then put on hold and the last eventually came back saying oh another couple weeks, mid October or maybe November.. given our initial appointment was in August and we had already waited 8 weeks, being told it could be another 4-6 week wait but with no guarantee of a surgery, I expect this type of thing in the public system but not in the private system. we ended up seeing another specialist and had the survey done 3 weeks later, having never heard back from Neil's rooms.
