Dr Tim Bennett

What a waste of time. He didnt even look at the scans that were the reason for my appointment in the first place, even though saying he would call my neurologist after my first appointment. I also said my scan wasnt from melb radiology, and he ignored me and called them anyway while I was sitting there, but regardless if the call was made to my neurologist as promised it would not have been necessary. This feels like a rotating cash business and less a place to receive medical help and care. Once the cash rolls in expect the clinic to close for 4 months until its dry. If this is how I conducted myself at my work I wouldnt have a job. He also did that thing where you have to go to his preferred X-ray place which also feels like a money first situation. Imagine not looking at the scan that was the entire reason for the referral. Money first I guess.

for the second time in as many years Dr Tim has gone Away, shut his entire business down and been to lazy to forward my critically important PBS script to me. I am now looking at 6 weeks win no medication same as last year. Its disgusting behaviour

Dr Tim Bennett is an exceptional Rheumatologist. I've seen him a few times now and I'm very impressed with not only the knowledge he provides however also that he cares about his patients. Everyone in his office is really nice. I'm happy that I'm on my RA journey with Dr Bennett.

Very happy with my initial first consult with Dr Tim Bennett who took a person centred approach and listened and did not dismiss my symptoms as 'all in my head'. I have struggled for twenty two years with mysterious migratory joint pain and random, inflammatory attacks which no rheumatologist to date has gotten to the bottom of my unique medical symptoms. I left the consult feeling as though I am one step closer to a diagnosis. Would I recommend a potential patient book an appointment with Dr Tim Bennett? Of course I would, he was also humble, kind, willing to answer questions, it was a collaborative experience rather than the old fashioned 'me doctor, you patient' power struggle.

He knocked my case out of the park in less than 10 mins. He saw my blood test results, scans of my neck and back, felt my fingers and hands for swelling, and magically arrived at the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, the "it's all in your head" disease, for which doctors prescribe antidepressants or something like Lyrica, which is meant to help with nerve pain despite no studies ever conclusively showing it's any more effective than a placebo, and it comes with a host of side effects. He never even bothered to send the results of his evaluation to my Dr. or psychiatrist. Beyond useless.
