Knowledgeable, experienced and talented. I got on well with him. My daughter had adenotonsillectomy and grommets aged 4, whilst it was a very difficult thing for her to go through, it made a huge positive impact on her health and life (sleep apnoea, illnesses, her speech from not hearing so well etc). I have no hesitation returning with my 2 y.o son for his grommets now.

After several consults I have nothing but high praise for Dr Shaw (apart from his fees). Praise does not extend to his staff whom Ive found to be uptight, unnecessarily defensive, unfriendly bordering on prickly, and reluctantly helpful. Even when posed with the simplest of requests, they cannot muster any signs of a can do attitude or smile. It seems everything and everyone is a nuisance for them and it shows from the moment they answer the phone or greet you at reception. Everyone has a bad day occasionally, so they were given several chances. They blew each one. Id suggest the patients arent the issue, ladies; its your attitude towards them.

I am quite unhappy, i went in 8 weeks ago, with my son who has been suffering numerous ear infections, i opted to go private for grommets as my son is delayed and goes for a ASD assessment in 2 weeks still, i called after 3 weeks to get resent some paperwork to find out not only had they not put in my application for private public!! so it had been doing nothing. i was told 6 weeks for private i have not had a call or email or any sort of confirmation. Im very disappointed. I saved all i had to pay for this cause i have been waiting on the public system for over a year already!! Come on he is 3 he needs it.
