Friendly, helpful staff. I opened an account for my 16yo daughter which was quite easy, however, trying to get further information by phoning 131162 with 2 general banking questions was quite the opposite. 15 minutes waiting and listening to self promoting drivel about members being their priority and the many great services they provide, I was told. Hmm, I can't answer those question's until I access your account. My questions were quite generic and not directly related to my account. I was asked for my 4 digit account password. I have a "verbal password" which confirms my identity but I don't feel comfortable sharing my account password, particularly over the phone. I was told previously by credit union staff not to share my account password even with my wife. The person I was talking to was polite, however, I said thanks, I might go to my local branch. I believe they'll be able to help, which I'm sure they will. 4 stars for branch enquiries and 1 star for phone assistance.

Somehow MICHELLE at this branch has accused my sister of spending the money she had on a website that doesn't exist and didn't bother to even look into the forms she had filled out. I stead of helping she has made the situation worse by saying she spent that money and made excuses as to why she can't get these money back even though my sister has proof. The exact same thing happened to me a month prior and their call centre called me to tell me personally and cancelled my card and ordered a new one. Yet MICHELLE wouldn't accept that maybe People's choice has such a terrible security that their customers' information seem to be ready for any scammers since this has happened twice now. We will be back to the store to make a formal complaint about her and get my sister's money and once we got it we will happily close all accounts and move to ING.
