Bendigo Bank

It is extremely frustrating when you take time out of a busy work day to dash to the bank, to find it closed in the middle of the day. This is 2022 - surely Bendigo Bank can work out how to staff a branch so that is doesn't randomly close for lunch breaks?! I will be moving my accounts to a more reliable Bank.

Website indicates the branch is open to 5.00 pm, however there is a sign on the door that says closed between 1 pm and 2 pm for lunch! Staff should be able to stagger lunch breaks to enable customers that work between 9 am and 5 pm to attend to their banking during their 1 pm to 2 pm lunch breaks. Security should not be the excuse noting the availability of CCTV and private security companies.

Covid restrictions over. Close contacts no more but here we are end of April & still bank branch is closed due to close contacts. Surely Bendigo have more than 2 staff to run the branch?! Northern suburbs has either Salisbury or Elizabeth. Two branches to service a massive clientele. In the last 2 months, I have gone to Elizabeth many times and have been unable to access my branch because it is never open or has closed at 1pm. I do realise there are still flow on affects but seriously with limited branches surely you could employ more staff to ensure a uninterrupted service. On two separate occasions I needed to deposit money for payments and wasn't able to. Even the ATM in Salisbury is useless. It allows to deposit money directly into the machine but it doesn't hit your account until the branch opens and manually processes the transaction. Maybe we need ATMs like the commenwealth bank that processes deposits as we make them. One frustrated customer.
