Not terribly impressed with the McLaren tour. Too much time spent at an info centre which could be better spent at the cube or wineries. Bus commentary wasn't particularly interesting nor engaging or helpful.

Probably the worst tour Ive paid $174 for - almost Fawlty Towers Comedy standard. 20 mins late after only one pickup (traffic) apparently, but also seemed to be on his own , so had to do all the pickups. Not very informative all tour although we were told that the captain of Proud Mary would give us a lot of information about the Murray River. He did not. Greeted grumpily aboard the boat, the tender broke free during the ride, with life saving gear lost overboard, only noticed by a passenger. Were yelled at to stay topside when it was time to disembark - no information given about this prior to that. Bus driver was monopolised by a woman sitting behind him so we heard all about her life and her son but backseat passengers didnt hear anything at all due to poor intercom and no projection of driver voice. Museum closed at Mannum - so an hour to spend in a small town with little to do. Cheese tasting closing in 20 mins so hurry up. Chocolate tasting - had to ask for a sample and was offered one piece of dark, milk or white chocolate instead of tempting us with at least one of the numerous varieties in the shop. Drab, dull and lacking in any sparkle. Would not recommend to anyone. Some leeway given due to feeling sorry for the driver who showed no signs of being an outgoing cheerful host of a tour group.

Went on the One Day Kangaroo Island Experience day tour in May this year with Adelaide Sightseeing and was happy with the service. Whilst it was a very long day trip (around 16 hours return, due to the distance from Adelaide to the island) and although our trip was delayed due to mechanical issues with one of the two ferries, we still managed to experience all the highlights and see the wonderful sights Kangaroo Island had to offer.

I did the Ultimate Adelaide and Hahndorf tour a few months ago with Phil! Traveling solo, this tour was just what I needed for a day! Phil made you feel welcome, cracked a few jokes and the stops along the way were fantastic. I would recommend a game plan of what you want to see in Hahndorf beforehand so then you can check it off and spent last bit relaxing before getting back on the bus.

Concentrated on inner city museums, Torrens river excursion, Adelaide Hills, Victor Harbour, Glenelg over 4 day trip. Great. Plenty more to see and do
