The wait time is usually over an hour when I have visited this practice and the reception staff are often friendly but my last experience was something completely different. The only thing more stressful than being stuck on Workcover after being assaulted in my workplace and suffering a shoulder tear, head injury and severe mental distress, is being stuck on Workcover and not being able to support your family because the staff at this practice refused to update a medical certificate. My shoulder pain increased so severely since my last visit that not only can i not work at a desk in a productive manner for more than an hour, but I also struggle to drive and do other basic tasks at present. I explained this to Dr Kalamaras during my consultation. He however did not update my work capacity. Neither did his reception staff who fill in and print his certificates. I asked however they would not update it and they said because its a legal document and they cant change it. The receptionists reason was "because I can sit and stand (her exact words) I can work". After almost one year without being able to provide me with suitable duties, my employer released me from my employment and because according to the current certificate stating that I can lift 10kgs with my right arm (which I cant) and can lift it to shoulder height (which I also cant as Dr K was aware), work cover have instructed me that I need to find new employment. Despite my efforts, no one seems eager to employ an individual who can not drive themselves to work or use their right arm....imagine that! To top it off when I mentioned that I didn't appreciate the hour and a half wait her response was "would you like to see a different Doctor? I'm going to cancel your appointment for next week" While I will certainly be seeing a different specialist moving forward, it is not because of Dr Kalamaras's surgical abilities, which I'm sure are exceptional. It will be due to the experience as a whole.

Went out of his way to squeeze in an urgent surgery. Was very professional and I could not have asked for more from every person I dealt with at this clinic. I would give 100 stars if I could.

My little one required radius and ulna surgery. To say Dr. Kalamaras was amazing is an understatement. He explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. His bed side manner with my little one was wonderful and calming. I highly recommend Dr. Kalamaras and his team.
