Dr David Zavattaro

Was very happy with Dr Zavattaro, took the time to see what was causing my knee to keep dislocating and the cause of it. Explained the surgery and why it was needed. Ever since then I have had no issues and no more pain! Would highly recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery

This is my first ever visit to Dr Savattaro. I found him to be extremely knowledgable and unlike many other Drs he has a personable and friendly nature. Very happy so far.

I did my research and decided i wanted a double anterior hip replacement. I research who drs, nurses, and hospital staff thought was the best hip surgeon in SE Qld, Zav as he is affectionately known by hospital people, came up No. 1 each time. I made saw the referred dr and dr Zav. How different. The first said he'd only do one at a time, was stuffy and i felt awful when i left. Dr Zav, is a little OCD but that's what we want in a surgeon and very open, approachable. I had a list of questions which he answered. Then he said that this will be his first double anterior, was i ok with that? How honest, so yes. Meridith his PA is excellent too. 3 weeks later i was done. The op was great, GCPH was not, def too penny pinching. i was back to normal and dancing in 6 weeks. The scars are amazingly thin and smaller than i thought. His follow up was sincere and as long as i needed. He's talented, fanatical, fit and normal, and worth handing your joints over to.
