My younger cousin went to buy a book for a family member as a present today, when at the counter to make her purchase a staff member started by greeting her rudely. She then proceeded to ask her if she would like to donate to charity. My cousin, who doesnt have much money to start with, politely declined. The staff member then made a comment, guilting her and shaming her for not donating. Id just like to add that you never know someones circumstances and financial situation, to make snide remarks at someones inability to donate is unprofessional and just down right close minded. Ill think again when choosing where to purchase my books in the future.

Within a mere five minutes of my arrival, a staff member approached me in an exceedingly impolite manner, repeatedly asking if I intended to buy something before allowing me to explore the books freely today. This aggressive and unwelcoming approach not only caught me off guard but also greatly diminished my overall experience as a customer.

I know it's a franchise, but the staff here are very friendly and I love the staff reviews on different books. It's a personal touch that I love when I'm choosing a new book!
