Former "Manchester Unity" Building Including Interiors

Built in 1923 and covers a block between Castlereagh Street and Elizabeth Street. Another spectacular example of Interwar Commercial Palazzo style architecture and now a State Heritage building in Sydney. I often walked past here and admire this sandstone cladding faade with timber framed windows. Both entrances from Elizabeth and Castlereagh Street are right next door to the Great Synagogue making these two beautiful buildings both contrasting and intriguing. Another significant addition to the ever growing and development of this city with stupendous buildings rich in history and providing overall picture of their importance to the heritage of this beautiful city of Sydney.
