Converge International

I came across Converge International through an employee assistance program from my part-time temporary employer. At the time of booking, I was working full-time, yet one major setback after another meant that I had to cut my hours down. I was (and still am) grateful for the three hourly phone counselling sessions received with one of their counsellors Graham Emery. Even though Graham is in WA; that worked, so that my appointments were made outside work hours. Graham drew me an illustration of how trauma is processed if resolved or otherwise; and where the limbic brain sits with all of that. I also received guidance on a simple breath work technique that I can do anytime I am triggered; whether at work or otherwise. Graham was calm, grounded, professional, and friendly. Despite talking over the phone (he is not on teams); I felt relaxed, comfortable, and at ease with him. I was able to eliminate some rough childhood traumas that were causing my back to back home and family issues at the time; and now I am relaxed, with ample time on my hands. He reminded me to keep grounded with the settlement of a recent sale. I highly recommend Graham. He has a wealth of knowledge and life experience when it comes to accessing the limbic brain, which is way easier to handle any positive and/or negative charge, rather than through the liver for example...a body part that needs to do way more. Now I have a valuable tool I can use anytime if and when I get triggered again. Graham also anticipated what I would be saying next, and in relation to how my fortnight was etc. The fortnightly appointments were very helpful. I cannot thank my employer enough. I highly recommend him as a counsellor, and this firm. Definitely a life changing experience for the better. Thank you very much.
