Proffessor: Doctor Christopher Benness Surgery performed at the Mater Hospital North Sydney. I would rate Doctor Benness 10/10 for preoperative consultation and tests prior to my surgery on 31/02/2021. Post surgical care I would rate 10/10. Proffessor Benness is a gentle, kind, and emotionally intelligent Doctor. His reassurance pre and post operatively was incredible. Many women need Gynaecological surgeries, and I truly can vouch that any fears or worries, will be put at ease with Proffessor Benness. Any women who reads this, please know you will be in safe hands if Proffessor Benness is your referred Urogynaecological Specialist.

Dr Benness displayed professionalism and duty of care with empathy, he had my interest at heart . It felt that I am being cared for by a dear brother. His warmth and bedside manners are very reassuring. Thanks Dr C Benness

Excellent doctor, but, be warned, do not attend initial consult with a "specialist" referral, which are only valid for 3mths, or you will be charged another 104 (initial consult) if your follow-up appmt exceeds the 3mth period after which another referral is req'd. 4mths later ... had op at RPA as public pt and, without doubt, he is the most brilliant and caring doc I have ever encountered. My initial warning still holds as, having worked for a specialist, I always advised pts to also bring along a ref from GP (if the one they had was from a specialist) as they last 12mths.
