Marston Architects was highly recommended to us as a team of very skilled architects that would ensure planning for our new family home would be as enjoyable as possible reducing the stress that could typically be associated with building your dream home. Working on the DA for a new build could be a very challenging time but so far it has been far from that. Vivianne and the team are incredibly organised, creative and have great attention to detail. They communicate well through the many aspects of the process and are always professional. Marston Architects reputation preceded them when we were looking for an Architect to build the ideal town houses for down sizers. They did not disappoint. Working with them was a pleasure. The team were able to design a functional, beautiful, quality duplex on a challenging block. Their passion for design is obvious and this is balanced with their practical knowledge of building and construction. I would highly recommend Marston architects to anyone. Look no further! Having explored options for architects for our major renovation, the case for Marston Architects was compelling from the outset. We have worked with Marston Architects on two residential projects. The first was a major extension to our family home in Crows Nest that created a spacious kitchen-dining-living area and north-facing patio. Our second project was a significant renovation of a slightly smaller home in Willoughby East for the two of us, updating an open-plan kitchen, adding a walk-in pantry, creating a new master bedroom and bath, and shared home office. On both projects, Viv and her team envisioned spatial arrangements, layouts, and opportunities for indoor-outdoor access that we hadnt considered but made the best use of the site and existing structure. For both of these projects, initial creative insights were developed by the design team into detailed drawings for our review and discussionan efficient and collaborative client-architect relationship. We also appreciated the quality and expertise of the building contractors recommended for us. We have had the pleasure of working on 3 projects with Marston Architects. We gave returned because they are so easy to work with and have delivered a quality result every time. Following detailed design and planning with regard to location, client needs and budget, construction is closely monitored by the Architects to ensure work is completed to a high standard and delivered on schedule ( weather permitting). The team know a number of reliable construction companies and recommend suppliers of quality products to ensure a high end finish. I recommend them without hesitation.
