        Nice staff but long wait

        I was admitted to the short stay mental health unit, PECC, at Nepean public hospital. The Psychiatrists there and the staff are respectful and provide a high quality of care. I have been refused admission to St John of God Burwood hospital where my psychiatrist of 24 years is a VMO. Once again the public system has picked me up where a private mental health clinic has dropped me.

        My sister had a c- section on Thursday.....her bp drops so she had to stay till Saturday but on Saturday, evening one staff was so rude ....she didn't even give us a notice of discharge and suddenly around 8 pm she told us we can go home ... we were happy to go home but my sister had still pain and couldn't stand and walk too .... they said they don't have wheelchair in their ward..... so rude....actually I want to give one star but I give two because some staffs were good

        Great place if you've made all the necessary appointments and need surgery. Lots of doctors, nurses and ancillary staff, helpful and friendly. Been there a couple of times, came out alive and feeling better than when I entered.

        Front desk needs to be more friendly and supportive. Parking always full. Long waiting hours. But once you get your turn, the doctors and nurses are very nice.
