Matchworks, Hornsby NSW2077 is the worst Employment Service that I have ever used. They are unprofessional and have very unprofessional staff including the Manager, they do not support you in finding employment and try to make you lose your job when you get one. They only in this to get any benefits from the government and stamp on you for not having a job no matter what the reason way be. They are trying to make you worthless and themselves as Kings. I dont recommend anyone to go there for assistance as a job seeker.

When co-vid hit, I lost my business of 11 years. For the 1st time in my life, I was unemployed. To say Matchworks was less then helpful would be an understatement. I rang the Hornsby office to change my appointment and was told the appointment wasn't important and would only last 5 minutes. I was shocked and told the representative whose name was an exotic name that began with a G..and I believe still works there in some managerial position. She told me she was understaffed and it would be better if I went with another jobseeking company and gave me a 1800 number. The only reason why companies like these exist is because there is a hole in the market for people needing assistance and unfortunately to get your jobseeker payment, you have to deal with these types of unprofessional people. They have NEVER done anything to assist me in acquiring a job or anything helpful. And don't miss an appointment with them, because then they suspend your jobseeker payment of $700 a fortnight. And having a young family with bills, it's almost like they have this God like power over you. Get educated and know your rights when dealing with companies like this that are in it to make money and not help people who need assistance.

Don't go here. Guley is unprofessional, useless, lazy, and has the worst communication problem. Very unprofessional! no help at all.! She is never there anyway. When you call they say that they don't know where she is, cause she hasn't come in yet, even though she was meant to start an hour ago. Guley you are meant to help people find work. But to do that you are meant to actually do work yourself. Waste of government money.!!
