I will not go there again unless I can book with Leila, it's pity she doesn't usually work on weekends. I made booking to have haircut today with another hairdresser after reading some nice comments about her online, but the experience turned out to be unpleasant. I wanted to change my look and I didn't mind to perm my hair and colour it. I knew my appointment was for haircut only and I was ok to do the perming and colouring next time, I was just seeking some advices since my appointment included consultation. Advice given to me was that the two looks I liked requiring styling. I did say I didn't have time to do styling in the morning but I doubted how hard it would be to style those natural looking haircuts, I had permed my hair and had short hair with several different fringes before. She didn't talk further about the kind of styling required or check if I could handle that at home myself, and I didn't want to risk when the hairdresser couldn't give me a positive advice. At the end we decided on a style that she said was more achievable, which was simply adding some layers and a shorter side fringe, not changing my look as I wanted but at least she was more comfortable with this style. Until now I was just a bit disappointed with the result I'm getting, but when she asked me how I would like my fringe cut, what length, more layers or less and not giving me advice when I asked, I started to feel offended. She said it's how I like it to be, with a lower voice, blinked her eyes slowly. I felt like she's used up her patience and it's a pain for her to cut my hair. She's seen the photo we decided together, she knew what look I was getting. I don't know what results or differences those longer or shorter fringe ( all look medium to me), more layers or less would give me, no further explanation from her. I'm not professional and that's why I went there for advice thinking a salon with high cost and some awards would give me nice experience, but the attitude of the hairdresser is surprisingly unpleasant. From that point I didn't want to talk further and wanted her to dry my hair so I can leave. Also want to mention, I didn't feel welcome from the beginning, she looked like wanting to finish the job as soon as possible and didn't want to spend time to provide advices or share some simple techniques to help achieving the look I wanted. I wasn't very happy with my look at the end but she said a word 'perfect', interesting she could say this when she knew I wasn't happy.
