Be warned dealing with this agency.They really need to reassess their procedures and protocols. My partner dealt with Scott Hunter in July 2021 in purchasing a property in Wyoming where her offer was accepted by the vendor with a "congratulations on your purchase" text and email from the agent Scott. She proceeded to pay the 0.25 deposit the next morning and by that afternoon was contacted by Scott apologising saying he received another offer that was higher and that he was "obliged" to pass on the offer to the vendor. My partner was stunned and shaken up by this and didnt really understand what was going on.We proceeded to have another conversation with Scott on the Saturday morning where he told us that the new purchaser hadnt paid the deposit yet and was getting a building inspection on the following Tuesday after which they would pay the deposit. My partner decided to beat the other offer and we worked hard over the weekend with our conveyancer to get our deposit ready and to sign a 66W and send it first thing Monday morning,where she paid the 10% deposit and sent the 66W form only to be told by Scott that the other purchaser already paid the deposit "over the weekend" and we were too late.We will never know the truth but it didnt sound right to us. Just be warned,this guy doesnt shoot straight.We have since spoken to a number of other agents all of whom said once they have an offer that was accepted by the vendor and the 0.25% paid,they did not accept any further offers-simple as that. Just make sure that if you are purchasing a property with this agency that you get it in writing that they will not accept any further offers during the cooling off period once the 0.25% deposit is paid.Otherwise you might have our experience. My partner has gone on to buy a beautiful property with an agent who acted with decency and integrity.

Scott Wagner sold my grandparents place recently. The respect and professional attitude he conducted himself with sets a standard beyond any other agent I have come across. He met with removalists on a couple of different occasions and navigated some prickly relatives with poise. Agents typically get thrown in a pile with used car salesman, not this bloke.
