Dr Jovanovic did a shoulder reconstruction and a full knee replacement . I could not have asked for a better doctor, great bedside manner, A+ care. Fully recommend Dr Jovanovic in every way.

I am surprised no one has reviewed this man's work. I first encountered him at Coffs Harbour Base Hospital in emergency after experiencing a misadventure involving a drop saw and my left hand. Alex's expertise has given me full use of my hand -enough to play guitar again- after 3 severed tendons and a nasty 90mm cut terminating between pointer and middle finger. The scar is almost undetectable. Our next meeting was from a referral from my G.P. for hip replacement. This was covered by my private health cover; therefore in a private hospital. I googled testimonials- always a good idea- and found the anterior method superior to any other. This is based on patients' testimonials and numerous orthopaedic surgeons around the world. It must be said that being of a light build and athletic; favourably predisposes a patient to this method. To say that I was nervous and apprehensive is to understate my mindset pre-surgery. Without great detail I can unequivocally shout out loud that my surgery was a success.. @ 58...it is considered young-ish for this operation. However my condition was congenital and an event waiting to happen. As a stonemason for decades there was considerable strain on all joints and limbs without the added inconvenience of dysplasia. I now know that Dr Jovanovic's reputation precedes him; and well it should. He is very busy and you will/would be 'lucky' to have him as your surgeon in the public system. Though I think it still may be possible...even though you cannot nominate your surgeon under their rules. A.S. Duncan
