Amazing insurance and so glad we got it. Makes it possible to make the best health decisions for our puppy without worrying about huge costs. We have saved so much money using our plan. It is great that they cover behavioral issues and exam fees too!

Claim processing is slow and painful. They find every reason to push back and slow down/reject the process. Simple things like: invoice shows 'open' versus paid, asking 'reason for claim'. When a dog is unwell and attends the vet then receives treatment that should be evident. Have Trupanion with my other dog and will be moving over with this guy as well. The minor price difference is justified with direct billing and seamless claims processing.

I recently received a letter from Petsecure regarding my previously insured dog, Molly, who passed from cancer more than three years ago. Petsecure had identified a system error in one of my claims for Molly, drew this to my attention, apologised and informed me they would process the claim immediately - with interest for the lapsed time.. They subsequently deposited the money ($80) in my bank account as promised. I would never have known about this error other than through Petsecure's integrity. (They could easily have said nothing.) This experience, plus Petsecure's excellent treatment of all claims relating to my three dogs, has only reinforced my loyalty to them for their excellent service. I might add that all three of my dogs have been rescue dogs, two of them with no previous medical background available prior to my adopting them, but both dogs were able to be insured after a short qualifying period, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. More recent claims have also been treated fairly and promptly. I'm very satisfied with Petsecure.
