The service Ive received from receptionist is very bad even though I had an appointment they told me to wait another hour or so, and they still couldnt take my little one in wasted my time

I waited 3 hours to see the doctor... and you wouldn't believe how the receptionists handled me as a first time patient. They did not give a $!. I had a severe medical problem that the doctor had to diagnose. Prior to my appointment I called the day before to make a booking for the next day. They asked for my full name and told me my appointment would be 1:20pm and to bring my Medicare card. The next day I arrived 20 minutes early at 1pm. I approached the front desk to sign in for my appointment. I told them who I was and that I had an appointment at 1:20pm to see the doctor and I have them my Medicare and Healthcare card. They didn't have me in the system before so I gave them further details to prove my identification. After that they told me to have a seat. Here's the real kicker, I waited for 3 hours. My mother told me it was normal to wait 2 hours, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt but after 3 I had enough I was severely uncomfortable and my condition was getting worse the longer I waited and the old lady receptionists just saw me wait there for 3 hours without a wick of concern in the world. They glanced at me and walked in and out of the reception WITHOUT TELLING ME THE TRUTH. In hindsight they just watched as they fooled me around. I finally had the courage to speak up after calling my parents about my situation so I approached the front desk and you would not believe how the rude old lady receptionist treated me. I explained the situation to her very calmly despite my ordeal. I gave her my name first which she tried to type in the computer, but she pointed her index finger at me saying , "STOP SROP STOP, I'm trying to find you I CaN'T FiNd YoU iN tHE SySTEM " and that there's no record of my booking. Ok what the actual f----. I literally called up yesterday saying my full name and you gave me an appointment time. They put me through see the doctor and I finally saw him. I told him my situation and he said you know they don't care... which I 100% agree with at least he's being honest and I respect that. I showed him the number I called and he confirmed it was the right one so I didn't call the wrong place. SO THE RECEPTIONIST DIDN'T EVEN PUT MY APPOINTMENT THROUGH EVEN THOUGH THEY GAVE ME A TIME AND DATE!!! The doctor however was very was very good, fixed up my problem and provided me with care and aid and a treatment plan. Don't recommend it the receptionists are rude and incompetent.

I have been a patient with this Complete practice for more than 5 years 2015-2019. I am rarely sick and the practice is close to my place so I just pick it way back then. I can tell you that The reception is unfriendly and can turn to be rude. I have seen this happen quite often when waiting for my turn to see the GP. I just quickly get my things done and ignore their attitude. My GP, Dr Wellington is a good GP, she looks after me during the time I had panic attack. It last for few months then I am back to normality and as a healthy person, I rarely go back to the practice. In 2019, I received a call from a nurse from the practice saying that since I am not sick in the 2 yrs time, I am now not their patient anymore. My file were deleted, I was shocked and was futhur explained that to maintain my record there, there is cost relating to it. So basically, I am kicked out simply because I am not sick that often. Anyway, thanks to that incident, I am now with a new GP practice call Icon Health Care Centre in Minto. Things are at the oposite, the reception is polite, the doctors take care of me everytime I visit them. Very helpful people there. Worth trying everyone. Don't waste your time with this Complete Medical Centre. Go to Icon in Minto and you witness a better medical service yourself. Look at the rating in Google, it is another evidence. Good luck and take care of your health.
