A PERFECT STAY - Quiksilver Apartments

I thought it was over priced. We had a tree obstructing our view, the bedding was dirty, the fridge was on the small side and kitchen was very small with no oven and only two hot plates. There were only two towels to a bedroom with no additional towels available. The outside bins were full and no room to put our garbage in them. The doors to the balcony were extremely hard to open. $3500 for 5 nights was extremely overpriced in my opinion.

Great location across the road from the beach, pub with great cafes and restaurants at the door step. Very comfortable accommodation with a great balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Didn't worry us noise from pub is quite loud.

The location was great. However on our first night the bathroom door lock broke and one of us got locked in. The door handle had been difficult to use since our arrival and as a result it had been really hard to open the door. The locksmith came the next day but didn't have the parts to fix the door. He said he would be back three days later. We stayed for 12 nights and didn't see the lock smith again. But more disappointing was the fact that we did not get a call from the owners of the property to update us on what was happening. It was expensive to stay in this apartment and normally I wouldn't mind the cost but we did not have a functioning bathroom door the entire time we were there. The door also had a hole in it where the lock had been which meant you could see someone when they were using the toilet. After this experience I probably won't go back as I had expected better service for the price.
