A PERFECT STAY - Byron Blisshouse

We had a group of 14 people staying at the complex. It was perfect for us. We still all ate and sat outside on the deck together but had our little retreats we could go to if it al got too much. I would definitely recommend the Bliss House for a holiday. It is close to Bilongil beach which is dog friendly and the water is clean and clear. It is far enough out if Byron to be able to go into town or go away from town quickly against the traffic. We loved it so much that we have booked for 2022 already.

The pics look impressive, but you need to know that this place is divided up into a number of different tenancies...(despite being listed on Air BNB as an Entire House)...they are all in very close proximity and who is staying in the other areas will significantly affect your stay (could be positive, may not be ). Be sure not to book the downstairs area as there is very little sound insulation and you will hear every footstep in the above area. Also, you need to know that this premises is right across a small road from the commercial kitchen of the resort next door. We were woken up each morning between 5:30-6am by a rubbish truck emptying their commercial sized bin, followed by the days kitchen deliveries...and their fresh supply of beer kegs...also throughout the day, the empty bottles are poured into that bin from the collection crates...quite noisy. The resort itself is not overly noisy, with all live bands finished by 10pm. It does make it hard to park nearby when it is busy...they seem quite respectful, it is just a shame that the house is right next to the commercial end of their kitchen facilities. Sadly, this was not the quiet, relaxing holiday we had dreamed of and though booked for 7 nights, we left for a motel after 5.
