Secure Parking - Blacktown Hospital Car Park

Parking lot in itself it great. Ample spaces available and levels easily accessible. Normal park, park and exit as any other secure parking. However for long term visitors who have have a pass and unlimited visiting rights to their loved ones. It has been extremely inconvenient. Despite having a 30 days pass, we have to go to the booth and validate at every visit, even if you do multiple visits a day. Westmead hospital, also a secure parking location is so much better where you are given a pass so your not wasting your time to validate. Furthermore at blacktown the staff have to go through a massive folder to find your name. Since we go there 3 times a day to validate the staff are getting to know us but if we had a pass, like Westmead it would save everyone time and effort. Double standards with service but not with rates. The out of hours is just disgusting. You cant validate so you need to ring the intercom. I waited 10 mins for someone to answer the intercom. Who didnt even know which parking I was calling from. Then when I told her she asked me which exit point despite there only being one exit point she said if I didnt tell exactly which exit it was she wouldnt be able to open the gate really???? Then hung up on me. I waited another ten minutes after buzzing the intercom again. same lady same response and hung up on me again. 3rd time the same 4th when I raised my voice did she open the gate. This is just horrible. We shouldnt have to go through this experience when visiting our loved ones.

Very unfair on govt to be charging families visiting their ill....when does it stop the greed of councils & govt! This becomes costly deoending on how long you have to visit for!
