        This is a must see if you can. The rocks glows golden when the sun hits them, and can be purple and red! Try to walk Echidna Chasm in the middle of the day, so the rocks glow! The lookouts are great too. We did them, Echidna Chasm and Cathedral Gorge in the one day, leaving the Bungle Bungles Caravan Park at 5.30 a.m. and getting back about 4.30 p.m. We drove in, and there were about 6 creek crossings, about 30 cm deep in July. The dirt road in has ruts, but manageable.

        It's a long long way from the highway, especially when they are fully booked and can't get you in .... Recommended either a sign on or near the turn off or at least before the caravan park which is 1km off the road.
