Fantastic caravan park with lots of mature trees for shade. The staff were helpful when we requested a change in our site. The pool...well, the pool is amazing! But freezing!! Food & drinks: We had a meal at the pub which was delicious - simple pub fare but well done.

The cabin with a lake view was large and well appointed. But it was nearly impossible to lock the door and the view was mainly of the opposite cliff. Most of the staff were wonderful - except for the male staff member we contacted to advise that there was a huge cane toad basking in the sun, on the lawn, under the sprinkler. He made us feel like idiots for mistakenly believing that a resort in this wonderful natural environment would be at all involved in helping to prevent the spread of these devastating creatures. I'm afraid we find it very difficult to recommend a resort, in this part of Australia, with the attitude expressed by this staff member. Nearby activities: Fabulous area with great natural beauty

Pulled up for 4 nights on a powered site. Great facilities in an oasis of spectacular beauty. Can't fault the weather at this time of year. It all made for a wonderful stay. Hotel highlights Great view More

I stayed in a motorhome, and the area was what you would expect. The park itself was quite nice, a little overcrowded perhaps but it is peak tourist season being the dry season. The toilets were largely immaculate I thought and well kept given the amount of bodies constantly moving around despite not seeing any cleaners? So I was quite impressed. And I was there 4 days... The pool is the star attraction however. With the backdrop of the lake Argyle it's really a sight to behold and ice worked remote all my life working out of 4x4s and occasionally helicopters across the Northern Territory and it still impressed me. There's a bar and restaurant which I frequented for a few beverages whilst my kids ran around searching for treasure in Bower bird nests. And the road in and out was very picturesque. Yea if happily return.
