Kimberley Dreaming

What a joke this guy brings his no paying mate along who is a photographer and talked him up that he will take photos at crossings ect to share with us at the end of tour. Anyway tour finishes and its $250 a photo at no time where we given a cost it was always share. So we dont get images but these guys use them on Facebook, instagram and YouTube. He also caused a lot a drama on tour by wanting to open up a track that hasnt been opened for 2 years. This is promoted as a family fun adventure we had kids elderly ect on tour and he was happy to leave people to go on without him exact words Im not here to babysit you when asked for a map he says theres one at the homestead. Look up reviews on Explore WA 4DW Adventures whos in with this tour, people not happy about the way this tour was conducted.

Ben took our party of 4 on a day trip to remember. His knowledge of the outback and indigenous culture is second to none. He showed us areas that we would never would have known existed and taught us so much about the environment, plus the history of the area. Ben is extremely passionate about the area and Sally his partner has imparted a strong understanding to Ben of indigenous culture. For our first visit to the Kimberley's a group of 4 undertook a Guided Tour with Kimberley 4x4 Tours under the guidance of owner Ben Smith. What a great choice. Our day tour was an amazing experience with visits to many of Ben's favourite spots including El Questro, Emma Gorge and ended watching a magnificent Sunset at Saddleback Ridge Lookout. Ben is very passionate, professional and extremely knowledgeable and went to great lengths to explain about the wildlife, fauna and culture of the people of the Kimberley's. We were in awe of the magnificent scenery he presented to us and the patience he showed in answering the many questions we asked. Ben your devotion to the Kimberley Region and the Tourist Industry in general was very evident and we again thank you for taking us on what was truly a memorable experience. We look forward to teaming up with you again to tour the Kimberley's during the "Wet Season."

We went out with Benny in a convoy of a few 4wds. I thought we'd have a good trip but it blew us all away. You never know how to really see a place until you have a pro guiding you round and showing you the good stuff! And Ben is as a friendly as they come. New to 4wd in the Kimberley, it was a bit scary, but there was always good communication across the radio to help us pass through the more advanced areas, and it made it more exciting, knowing we could go in and would have the experience and support behind us. Will be back for more in the future!
