If I could give zero stars I would. After experiencing a 10kg weight loss in 8 weeks, food sensitivities, low iron, low B12 and a positive SIBO test. Dr Forbes scoped me and did not find anything of significance. My jaw was extremely sore after the endoscopy. He told me it would improve with time. At follow up I told him once again I was experiencing extreme jaw pain. Again he told me it was perfectly normal and would subside. Turns out my jaw had been dislocated during the scope. As for my GI symptoms he dismissed them as psychosomatic, was so rude and condescending and referred me to a psychologist and implied I had health anxiety. My symptoms became worse . Long story short I was required to have a laparoscopy with a competent gynaecologist. It was found I have severe endometriosis. My bowel was attached to my pelvic wall, I had multiple adhesions connecting organs to the bowel thus explaining my overt GI symptoms. As a GI Dr Forbes should be aware of the link between endometriosis and GI issues. Psychosomatic disorders affect less than 5% of the population. If someone has clean scopes the next conclusion should not be it is psychosomatic. He is a medical gaslighter, will not consider extending his knowledge as he believes he already knows everything and talks down to his patients. I believe he has a poor attitude toward females and is quite willing to dismiss serious symptoms as all in your head . Please avoid this specialist - particularly if you are female..

Dr Forbes is a lovely, kind gentle man with a passion for what he does and a truely empathetic caring nature. He has gotten my Ulcerative Collitis under control in one month since seeing him and its the first time in years Ive been symptom free. Cannot recommend enough!

AMAZING doctor. Very judgemental front desk lady. Makes it seem as though asking them to reschedule an appointment is the biggest inconvenience to her. Would not expect that from a person in a customer service position. When asking to reschedule told "will get back to you" 2 days later no phone call.

Well from personal experience and without hesitation, I can definitely recommend Dr Jeffrey Forbes. Youll find hes someone who is very easy to talk to and understand, and his calm professional attitude will quickly dispel any concerns or anxiety. To him and his team, I once again wish to pass on my very grateful thanks.
