Really fascinating place for camping, bushwalking and bird watching. Mallee eucalypts, river red gums, black box, dry lakes & creeks. Main camp ground is spacious, good facilities. Very few people there when we visited on the Anzac Day long weekend. We had beautiful blue skies in the day, clear sky at night with brilliant view of stars. Restrooms: Composting toilets.

A very different kind of bush/forest than southern Vic, but very thought-provoking in terms of different landscapes and the effects of bushfire on flora and fauna.
