My appointment was supposed to be in May, and someone called me said they had to change it because doctor wont be coming that day, then I asked for an earlier day and luckily I got one in March. I'm not gonna blame it on anyone, it is my fault for forgetting the appointment, and the first thing when I call was apologizing the receptionist Tracey who picked up the phone. I said sorry not less than 10 times, and when Tracey asked me to pay a fee I was more than willing because I felt very sorry for not turning up. I know it is my responsibility to remember my appointment, however Tracey I do not appreciate the way you communicated on the phone. She acted like I owe her a big debt for not coming, she expressed her frustration in a very personal bitter way. She asked me to wait because the her system is not working, and I was fine with it but she would not stop attacking me by repeating: many people could have had the slot, that she is very frustrated and need an explanation, that she sent me a message last week about the appointment but I did not come, what happened? (After I already explained about my situation that I have a new born, and my second son had a big dental procedure during the week and I was running back and forth with mum's duties and hospital and everything and my mind was everywhere and I forgot and I'm sorry). Then she said she will talk to doctor How to see if he even want to give me another appointment because he is very upset. Have you never forgot any appointment in your life? Working in medical field I think you should have been more sympathy as you know I come to you because I need help, and after I explained my situation you should have picked up that I'm very vulnerable and stop blaming me and making me feel more worthless for forgetting my son's appointment. I refuse to see Dr. How even if he offers another appointment now, because I'm already anxious to think about seeing Tracey face to face in his clinic. Please don't ask us patients to treat you guys with respect when there is non respect toward us.

Dr How is a treasure of a paed! He has a patient, friendly and approachable manner, both with us and with our children who warm to him quickly and enjoy seeing him! He takes time to listen deeply and reponds in a considered and thoughtful way, taking our concerns seriously and appreciating the holistic picture of our unique child and family situation. He also manages to calm our parental anxiety and soothe our fears by explaining medical conditions and treatments in easy to understand terms. Highly recommend.
