Watton Street Optical

Tried to call to make an appointment today, was put on hold for a lenghty period and gave up. Called back later, finally got through only to be told that their first available appointment was in a week's time. I'll be going elsewhere..

As soon as I stepped into watton Street optical I felt comfortable, the receptionists were lovely and friendly, Dr Chris and his wife came in and both greeted me warmly. There was laughter and happiness shared in this place and it had such a great atmosphere. Dr Chris was thorough and explained everything with detail. Then the receptionist helped me choose some glasses without rushing me. Thankyou, my family have been coming here for years as we know this is the place to go when you want fantastic service and help with your eyes.

I would not go anywhere else for my eye tests & prescription lenses. Chris is thorough, friendly & efficient. Having worked in optical myself in the past, I know what to look for & what to expect & Chris & his staff deliver every time.

Brought my glasses two and a half years ago. Was sold glasses with coating . The coating has creased making the glasses useless. Rang and asked about the creasing - only to be told it only lasts two years. Told I could buy new glasses. When I purchased the glasses- I was sold the coating- no mention that it would last two years. Unprofessional money grabbers. If I could give zero stars I would.
