        This was our 2nd trip to Tarndie. Our stay in the cottage was very comfortable and cosy. The flowers around the cottage added to the caring homely feel. Waking up to the fields surrounding the cottage and the sheep as part of the scenery is very special. The hospitality of our hosts was outstanding. Their local knowledge means there are so many things to explore. Thank you so much for a restorative and enriching experience, but so much more.

        Booked and stayed for 2 nights at 'The Stables' at Tarndie. The Stables are a thoughtfully renovated dwelling with modern amenities while still maintaining rustic beginnings. Such a beautiful place to base ourselves while spending a couple of days exploring the Western District of Victoria. As mentioned in other reviews, Tom is a great host who makes you feel more than welcome. Highly recommended.

        Tarndie is a working historical sheep farm which makes for a very enriching and interesting travel experience. Our family loved staying in the Cottage which is very cosy and well appointed with modern kitchen, a log fire and heaps of wood! Tom and his family made us very welcome and for fibre-lovers and those that knit, dye,spin, crochet or just enjoy a rural idyll, this is your spot.

        Everything about Tarndie is perfection. The converted stables are warm, cozy and beautifully presented. Tom is a genuine host that immediately makes you feel welcomed. The coffee. The yarn!         Stayed in The Stables situated in calm garden surroundings with lovely farmland views. Everything was spotless and tidy. Our host was welcoming, suggesting walks and interesting places to visit in the area. A comfortable and very enjoyable stay -- wish I'd planned a longer visit!
