Mr Kareem Marwan MBBS FRACS

Very poor and unprofessional post surgery care and follow up.My son was operated by him for fistula as private patient.After surgery he failed to provide proper after care and on basis of his economical condition he was handed over for post surgery care to Chandler house Anglia s hospital .When Chandler house treatment team concerned about the healing is not taking place which should have been there was no immediate response from him to provide proper care and provide guidance to patient .When Chandler house required further referral for on going dressing treatment it took one week to get onther one and only on my intervention and repeated request to receptionist and he simply failed to provide further care or guidance .I myself is health professional so I know the protocol .One juncture he was rude enough to joke and relate the poor healing on my son mind not communicating to heal .In short very unprofessional ,and lacks professionalism and don't care for patient .

Thank you Dr. I now do believe that there are good Drs in this world. Dr Kareem Marwan took my case after a bad surgery experience with my last Dr, worst when elective surgeries were put on hold. Day 1 appointment, to operation day and today's post opp appointment, he's looked after me in a best way and I cannot thank him enough. He's got a best team to support him, my special thank you to Vickie. Thank you for taking my call in October 2021. Dr Marwan specialises in: EUA, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Banding, Seton, recovery from Advanced Mucosal Flap surgery and reoccurring Fistula. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Marwan and team. Dr Marwan is attentive caring and I felt validated and heard. My situation was not a textbook situation. Dr Marwan went above and beyond to find the cause and see it through. I cannot thank him enough and I highly recommend him

I cannot think of a kinder and more caring specialist than Dr Kareem Marwan and I could not recommend him more highly. Not only has he treated my Mum for many years with such skill and genuine kindness, but also operated on my Dad and has also cared for other family members, including myself. We really are so incredibly grateful to him. He has outstanding skills and expertise, but importantly, kindness and compassion with the most lovely bedside manner. I cannot thank him (and the most amazing and kind Vickie!!! ) enough for always being so caring and helpful, but for especially going above and beyond by helping me get specialist care from one of his colleagues recently. I am so very thankful, and they are a perfect team.
