Stop 1

Its nice to have a service at campus that takes over administrative student requests but some of the staff is outright rude. However, I also met absolutely lovely people that promised to help me with my issue (I only needed a digital document signed). Some things happen quickly but others dont as some of the processes seem to be a little outdated, especially when it comes to digital services.

Normally Im a well organised student and have no need to see stop 1 for any reason. However today I arrived at class to not be allowed access to the building. After instructions by a teacher in the building I headed to stop 1 to see about getting this fixed. I am so glad Ive never had to deal with stop 1 before. Upon my arrival they said I needed a booking however all bookings for the day are full. This makes stop 1 useless if you have an issue on a day as you will need to know in advance about any upcoming issues which is pointless. After finally speaking to someone at stop 1 I was informed that they would not allow access to myself or classmates and we had to call security to access the building until the subject coordinator submitted a formal request. Essentially throwing their hands up and saying we cant be bothered. Now for the entire day I need to contact security to go to class and waste not only my time but theirs as well. If you can avoid Stop 1 for your issues do so as they will not help you. I wrote this review about a year and a half ago, but now Ive had a new experience and I need to update this. While sometimes the help is less than perfect, today I came in and was helped to solve a really complicated issue. The staff was really nice and helpful. Not only helping to solve the problem but also directing me to other useful resources to help me with my course. This great experience doesnt erase the bad one but its good to see that they are improving
