My CCTV caught an orbit home employee urinating on my garage door. I reached out to orbit homes regarding this and they failed to respond. Not even an apology. If this individual who represents your company in a fluro tshirt with your name emblazoned across the back is happy to urinate on people's houses, imagine the lack of consideration they would have when building your home.

I left a very dissatisfied review with Orbit internally when our home was complete. Customer service was appalling - promised so much yet we felt completely detached at times with rushed appointments, unknowledgeable staff and poor response times. Moving in, the paint job was poor, plastering in some areas was poor and cleanliness was poor. Some of the cabinetry, while looks good on the outside, was found to be rushed or shortcuts used when put together. Some poor measuring or a CBF attitude would only equate to these results! The final straw was a home gift of a key ring and teapot after committing years or mortgage repayments for your business, having constant issues with communication from staff and building manager, your gratitude was certainly not noted. After building our first home with orbit, we will never build a home with them again, and it is unlikely that we will want to build another home with any other company. There have been so many issues from them removing a tap from the plans that we paid for, to taking over a year to fix a mortar issue that was picked up on handover. When we moved in, we felt like we moved into commission housing as you could still see all the patch works on the walls from their poor paint job. And we did not have a light fixture on our fan. Thankfully we got a private inspector who was able to identify defects which orbit rectified some of, however we have had ongoing issues with them. The company they hired to paint the mortar (as it was two toned) managed to stain our driveway and get paint over the face of the bricks. They then claimed that they could not fix the paint on the face of the bricks. Yet I have been successful in removing the excess paint myself, go figure. They "fixed" the stained driveway and said they wouldn't do any more. So thanks for staining our driveway that we paid extra for, good job. Seriously, don't build with these guys, you will regret your decision. Service: Home building
